Welcome to SageBrush Crossing
Through this fictional frontier town, 1871 creates the space for stories, conversations and experiences that give people opportunities to slow down, think, connect, and decide what matters to them.
In a world with plenty to say about who we should be and how we should live, 1871 helps people to explore identity, relationships, memory, and the choices that make us who we are so we can make the decisions that align with what we actually want and need.

Reflections of a Cowboy
Before SageBrush Crossing became a town filled with characters and stories, some of the ideas at the heart of 1871 began with a personal question: how do we learn to understand who we are – and to question who we have been told we should be?
Reflections of a Cowboy is my story of hope, identity, adversity, reflection and change. It’s the personal story that helped to open the trail toward the wider world of 1871.
